Kevin L. Mullins....................REPOSTED FROM A FRIEND !!!!!!! SO TRUE Thanks Bro. Kevin !!!!!!! Notice how much attention a Christmas, or birthday present attracts. The prize is all wrapped up, completely concealed, with bows and ribbons. Its a mystery, and it incites curiosity, fascination and fantasy. We shake it, we handle it, we try to see through the beautiful wrapping paper, but then we find this package doesnt have our name on it, but someone elses. Even though we know the gift is not ours, it draws our attention, and curiosity, and we cant help but to wonder, what is inside. Everyone looks at the classy package and tries to guess its contents and worth. In this age of loose morals, and a lust driven society, I am amazed at people that do not realize that they are a God given gift to someone, and they so willingly remove the bow and ribbon themselves. They take their covering off and expose way to much. Their is nothing left to the Imagination, the mystery is gone, and they have tarnished the worth of themselves. They were supposed to be an example of Gods love and purity, an expression of Gods favor upon the receiver of the gift. When the gift wrap came off, so did the name tag, telling who sent it and to whom it was sent. It no longer carries the identity of God, and is no longer attractive to the intended receiver. And now the tag is gone telling where they came from and where they were going. They are put on the open market, and sold to the highest bidder. A preacher friend of mine used to say, people normally put their valuables out of sight in a safe or another hidden location, but not on display for thieves to see and steal People, dont let the devil unwrap you and give you to people that wont appreciate your true value and worth. Stand for God, Keep your paper, bows and ribbons on, and pretty soon God will give you to the one you were made for. No body reaches for a package that has already been opened, because, chances are, its damaged merchandise.
