Kevin Lau Incident Concern Group Press Release (16 March 2014) Since the news about the arrests of suspects was released, there have been questions about the status of the bounty offered for Kevin Laus case. The Kevin Lau IncidentConcern Group would like to clarify as follows: From information received by the Concern Group, all donors of the bounty aggregating HK$3.3 million have confirmed to the police that their bounty offers remain valid. Although 11 people have been arrested apparently without substantial help from informants, it is believed that there are people involved in the crime who are still at large and further intensive investigation would be needed to track down the mastermind and other involved parties. The Concern Group believes that the bounty canencourage those who have information that may be of assistance to the investigation to come forward and contact the police. The Concern Group also believes that the bounty offerconveys a strong and clear message from the donors to the offenders : You have made yourself an enemy of the whole society.
