Kevin Spacey gets it. It is all about story and choice. If network execs continue to try and force the old model down our throats, they will simply fade away while others fill the gap. Netflix has basically gone from a company that was on deaths door 3 years ago to an industry leader, because they did the obvious. They gave the consumer (the customer) what they wanted. As Spacey said, give them what they want and most will pay for it, gladly. If you try to take advantage of them they will just find another way, and that usually means not paying for it because they think you are bullying them in the first place and they have no qualms about stealing it from you if you are to act that way.
