Kevin and I werent close friends by any means- more of acquaintances through dozens of mutual friends. But I can say this with certainty; when he would show up at a party, everyone was all happy and hyped up Adorno is here!! He had an amazing smile and light about him. He was always having fun whether at a house party, the soccer field, or a club in downtown. Just this past winter we bumped into him and his girlfriend at the Tavern where he introduced Elyse as his wife. I shook her hand and made small talk with them. Later I asked my friends who were close with him Hey did Kevin get married? He introduced someone to us as his wife. He knew even then that she was the one, and proudly showed her off. My heart is sad. As a wife, knowing she will never get the proposal he so carefully planned or the marriage Im sure they talked about. As a mother myself- an UNIMAGINABLE loss his mom and dad now have to endure, and as a fellow resident from Farmington- that something so selfish and evil has now left many of my closest friends with yet another hole in their hearts. I know many of you are much closer to him- but please know that even people who knew very little about him, like me- are saddened by the fact that he is gone. He was a good friend to my friends.
