Kevitho Kera and I were returning from Delhi when Firehouse were - TopicsExpress

Kevitho Kera and I were returning from Delhi when Firehouse were scheduled to play in Dimapur during the winter of 2004. A few of us were very excited and we started panicking as soon as we crossed Diphu train station. The next 15-20 minutes, we stood beside the doors looking out for the shimmering lights in the distant that would be Dimapur. Kevitho was belting out Christmas with you and the likes near the door. Suddenly we were approaching a platform and the train was slowing down when Kevitho announced DIMAPUR PUNCHISHE and jumped out of the train, onto the platform and started hi-fiving the few coolies there, and I am sure he even chest-bumped one or two of them too. I was a little skeptical about this station with hardly any lights or Christmas stars so I waited. Unfortunately for him, the train didnt stop and started picking up the pace. He looked up and ran after the train in full speed. He would have put PT Usha to shame that night as he caught up with the train, found the group and cursed Lawwra, Dimapur thakanai!.
