Key highlight of Republic Day parade I could notice: 1. Three all women batallions in the parade. 2. Almost all exhibits on tablos, march past batallions and missile regiments had women officers leading in the front. Although symbolic, it will have a multiplier effect on how women are looked upon in society and what a way to promote Modi governments Beti bachao beti padhao movement!!! Never seen any government in India give so much importance to really small things that have force-multiplier effect on public opinion at large. Personally I did not know the armed forces had so many women in its service. Kudos to the vision of Modi Sarkar! Kudos to our armed forces for giving such a good fillip to highlight its women officers! Jai Hind.......
