Kgns SagamoreHill, you need to strive for accuracy. The survey you are referencing is NOT for the faithful; it is sent to the Bishops around the world. The survey is a tool used by the Synod to formulate the Instrumentalis Laboris, the working document for the Synod. Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI used a similar survey for the Synod on the Word of God and Blesses John Paul II also did the se for the Synod on the Eucharist. Once again, reporters miserably at disseminating the message. One cannot change Church Doctrine. Unfortunately, the folks interviewed may not have understood what the survey means. This only brings additional confusion to the faithful and breeds further ignorance about the Church.
