Kharijites Is a term used to describe Muslim, a group of Muslims who went out of the fundamental teachings of Al Islam, develop extreme doctrines that further set them apart from orthodox, mainstream Islam. In arabic are called Khawarij خوارج meaning those who went out of. Khawarij started in early history of Al Islam during third successor of the Prophet Mohammad ﷺ, caliphate Uthman Bin Affan, the Khawarij were initially supporting the authority of the Caliph Uthman, then later rejected his leadership. Khawarij are particularly noted for adopting a radical approach, where they declared other Muslims to be unbelievers and therefore deemed them worthy of death. The modern day Khawarij are Al Qaeda, Al Shabab, Boko Haram & the Islamic Caliphate of ISIS. They are very tiny minority compare 1.62 billions muslims globally, but they look large due to media attention. They are threat to Islam, muslims & the whole mankind. Upto today Muslims scholars have spoken collectively against them.
