Kia Orana, My name is Acacia & I served 9 1/2 years in the NZ Army as a Medic. In this time I served overseas in both Timor Leste & Afghanistan as a soldier, mother, wife, friend, sister, daughter. Although I left the uniform to pursue other goals my heart is still with the green. WHY HAVE I DECIDED TO DO THIS? Having worked & served with a few of these top soldiers, I believe our challenges we have set individually & will overcome as a team on the lead up & during The Tough Mudder adventure will uphold the values of the NZDF & honor all those who have fallen, especially as ANZAC day is fast approaching.
