Kichloo dedicated C T Scan machine to people of Kishtwar Kishtwar : Honorable MOS for Home, Industries & Commerce, Tourism, R&B, H&UD Sajjad Ahmed Kichloo today dedicated C T Scan machine to public at District Hospital Kishtwar in presence of Medical Superintendent District Hospital Kishtwar Dr. Parvaiz Iqbal Wani, doctors and paramedical staff. While addressing the media persons, Kichloo said that Kishtwar District is accidental prone area and added that due to head and other body part injuries, many patients in past were refered to Jammu. He said that with the functioning of C T Scan machine, the people will get benefit at door step. He lured the role of former Union Health Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad for sanctioning additional 100 bedded hospital block for Kishtwar, beside a cancer hospital. He said that process for He said that government is committed for improving health facilities in all districts of the state. He said that the land acquisition process for establishment of cancer hospital has been set into motion, beside the construction of 100 bedded additional hospital block will be started shortly. He said that out of Rs. 80 lac sanctioned for construction of separate maternity Ward inside District Hospital Kishtwar, Rs. 20 lac has been released and added that same will be constructed at old hospital building complex. He later also held the meeting with officials and reviewed the functioning of the hospital. During the course of the meeting, several decision with regard to development of hospital and health infrastructure were also taken on spot. On the request of Medical Superintendent District Hospital Kishtwar, Honorable minister donated Rs. 10 lacs to Hospital Development fund, beside also provide 10 LED lights & 10 high mask lights to hospital authorities. He also assured the authorities for all possible help in future as well. He also order equal wages for equal work and directed the hospital authorities to enhance monthly wages of sweepers and helpers from 1800 to 3000. He urged the staff and doctors of the hospital to work with zeal and zest for the betterment and welfare of the patients admitted in hospital. He also discuss various problems faced by the hospital authorities including shortage of staff, non existence of laundry, open hospital boundary walls and importantly non existence of gates in the hospital premises. After giving patience hearing to the issues raised during the meeting, Kichloo assured all possible help to the authorities for smooth functioning of the hospital.
