KickOff has been informed it is highly likely that Katlego Mphela and Jabulani Shongwe may be released today to join Kaizer Chiefs and Bidvest Wits respectively. The Mamelodi Sundowns pair have signed pre-contracts with the Brazilians title rivals, meaning they will switch alliances on July 1. However, their future employers are eager to secure their services before then. As a result, a Sundowns official has confirmed that Killer and Jafefe, as the duo are affectionately known, could move on before the transfer window closes at 17h00 tomorrow. As it stands, the moves may be ratified today by the Downs board allowing Mphela and Shongwe to leave Chloorkop immediately.
