The KidSport mission is a simple one…to remove the barriers that prevent some young people from participating in sport. Since 1995, KidSport chapters across Alberta have distributed more than $10 million to help more than 55,000 kids participate in sport programs in their community by providing grants for registration fees and equipment. KidSport Alberta works to support the 36 community-based KidSport chapters across the province and supports kids in regions where a local chapter does not exist.
