Kids are so honest... And Luca is SOOO honest and in touch with how he feels. He does not love school, but he LOVES his teacher and that makes school tolerable for him. We love you Mrs. Kiernan!!!! So, as I was walking him into school this am he says to me, why do I have to be at school more hours during the day than I am with you? You are my mom and I should be with you more! Okay, insert a knife and slice my heart into a million pieces!!! I could have cried the ugly cry right there, but I held my composure. When I left the room he gave me a big hug and kiss and told me how much he loved me. :). I could never ever imagine me homeschooling any of my kiddos, but I cant seem to shake off what he said to me this am. (No hate mail please... Im not against home schooling at all! Our family has always supported public schooling and we LOVE the fine arts and music magnet schools that our kids have had the opportunity to attend!!! :). If you homeschool, how did you make that decision? my baby will not be a baby for many more years. (Please comment with your thoughts but please to do not use this as a place to trash homeschooling or public school. We support both :))
