Kids who cant afford to go to college- their parents cant afford to just write them a check so theyve got to borrow money. The United States Government says We will lend you the money to go to school. Okay, thats a good thing to do. And then-- The government piles on the interest rate so that the government makes tens of billions of dollars in profit off the backs of kids who are trying to get an education. I think it is obscene for the government to make profit off kids. I grew up in an America that said Our job is to invest in our kids and help them build a future.
