On the occasion, guests of the hotel were entertained with traditional music performances, the art of making to he (a traditional toy for children in Vietnam that is made from glutinous rice powder in the form of edible figurines such as animals, flowers or characters in folk stories), unicorn dance, and calligraphy writing among others. Staff of the New World Saigon Hotel went out to present more than 7,000 cakes to people in the areas and trade centers near the hotel. Before the gala dinner, the hotel carried out numerous activities for the 20th celebration, including gastronomy programs with the participation of invited foreign guest chefs, lucky draws for regular customers, trips to charity organizations in the city and flash mob dances in HCMC’s District 7 and District 1.
