Kiir calls for co-extistence among South Sudanese people. President Salva Kiir while attending church services at St. Teresa Catholic Church in Kator yesterday on Christmas Day called for unity among South Sudanese. “Yes we have tribes, but those tribes should keep us together. Love your neighbours, and love your brothers and sisters.” he said. He urged the people of South Sudan to accept their diversity and live in peace as communities. The president had earlier sent twenty ministers from the national government to the ten states to convey his Christmas message to the people of South Sudan. Kiir was addressing worshipers during a prayer mass at St. Teresa Catholic Cathedral at Kartor in Juba on Christmas Day. “I want you to live in peace amongst yourselves and live in peace with your neighbours. Let us embrace this peace which has come [with the birth of Jesus Christ], and pray that the New Year will be a peaceful year.” He said. President Kiir urged the people of South Sudan to continue to pray so that the New Year 2015 will be the year of peace in the country.
