Kileys doctor called. MRI came back good/clean. Which is a great thing but obviously doesnt say or tell us whats wrong. So because medications are working and with her symptoms for the moment they are diagnosing it as neuralgia. Which is a sharp, shocking pain that follows the path of a nerve and is due to irritation or damage to the nerve. So basically it is an unseen nerve related thing happening. Very well could have been nerve damage from chronic ear infections as a child. But good news is no tumors or masses and we at least have a plan. We go back on nov 6 and will reevaluate but we will stick with meds and treatment plan she is on for now. Thanks to everyone for your continued concerns and well wishes. It is not a 100% that this is what she has but is a pretty sure thing.
