Kill day #2 this week , at this time there are 90 cats listed 67 as need rescue - 23 listed as found - of those 23 some still do not have pictures up some have the dreaded picture where we never see the posting again. I remember awhile back rescuing 3 black kittens, that were marked as feral, at that time they were using petfinder, they never showed up on the radar I discovered them on hlp as coming into the shelter days before. They are alive, happy and social today, had they not been noticed, they would just be a pile of ash. Those at HAC may deem some cats / kittens unadoptable but there are others that know that with just a bit of work or some proper medical care, they can become lifelong companions.
