Killing of Farhat once again exposes India’s dictatorial nature: Shah Hurriyat Conference JK leaders arrest, houses raided Srinagar, March 15: Police on Friday put to house arrest the senior Hurriyat Conference Jammu Kashmir (HCJK) leaders, Shabir Ahmad Shah and Nayeem Ahmad Khan and arrested Shabir Ahmad Dar who is lodged in Police Station, Safa Kadal while as frequent raids were conducted at the residence of Mushtaq ul Islam. They also raided the houses of various Hurriyat activists of Hajin, Sopore, Bandipora and Baramulla and arrested many of them.During his house arrest, Shabir Ahmad Shah while severely condemning the killing of an 18-year-old youth, Farhat Ahmad Dar of Naidkhai, Sumbal by occupational forces and injuring several others said that freedom movement would have been crushed if India believes in the use of force and gun to suppress the freedom loving Kashmiris. “They (India) are in misconception that they can suppress the freedom movement of Kashmiris by the use of gun, arresting pro-Hurriyat people and other human rights violations. They don’t learn lessons from the fact that despite rendering more than five lakh lives for the cause, the hearts of the people of Kashmir are still filled with the spirit of freedom. The more India will oppress the people of Kashmir, the more they will turn against them,” Shah said. Shah while saluting the freedom spirit of the people of north Kashmir said the killing of a youth, Farhat Ahmad Dar once again exposed the brutal and dictatorial nature of India and that Kashmiris will never give up the freedom struggle at any cost. “We will fight against occupational rule of India till last force personal remains here.” Lashing out at hypcritical nature of government, Shah said they (govt.) themselves carry out rallies with full fervor but completely foil the same of their political oppoenents by seeking the help of army and forces.“They (govt.) impose curfew so as to prevent Hurriyat people to participate in the funeral of martyrs and to express solidarity with the beareaved families. It is the worst kind of dictatorship,” Shah said.In his message to Kashmiri people, Shabir Ahmad Shah said the Indian oppressive rule is nearing to its end keeping in view the changing world scenario and continuing sacrifices laid down by brave freedom fighters of our nation.
