Kim Carson here! Being on the air as long as I have, I just dont go to a lot of concerts anymore, Im pretty concert-ed out;-) I have to really really LOVE you to go out and see you. Rob Brandt upgraded me Friday, and I am so excited I will be out at the Jackson Browne concert tonight at Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park! I saw Jackson Brown the night before I moved here to Grand Rapids back in 2003 when he sat in a horseshoe of all of his acoustic guitars at Stranahan Theater & Great Hall and would pull out a guitar, and tell the story about how he wrote one of his songs on it, and then would sing that song. Ive seen him each time he was here in Grand Rapids since then. Actually, I have seen him in concert more than any other touring musician! Heres a couple fun pics from years ago when I saw him at the old Pine Knob now DTE Energy Music Theatre. I went backstage and met both he and Rosemary Butler (in pic) shes the one who belts out Oh, wont you stay, just a little while longer on The Loadout/Stay album.
