A bit of a slow start because of your beloved cruiser having a clangy, noisy melt down issue and trading her in for Amandas faithful bike; meeting sweet Necey (Denise Jenkins) at Lulus for a yumi fortifying lunch before we started our trek to wherever our ride led us...and what a wonderful lunch time we shared with our dear sissy. And then there was the countryside and the horses (had to throw in our adorable little buddies we met last week); and what would our canal adventures be without ignoring the warning signs? Who could possibly NOT venture onto the canal banks next to the cool rushing waters?! And then there were the barking, bike chasing, bad doggies!! Did I really almost run you into the sandy almond orchard? But we survived and actually found out where we were...well sort of. The cold water gushing pump encouraged us to continue and we finally saw the Santa Fe sign! We knew how to get home! 20 miles and a few fun hours later we rode into our garage where we enjoyed a refreshing homemade oh so delicious lemon bar, made by precious Marlowe (Lesa Embry)...oh ya to top off the afternoon, Bobby came home from work and made me a wonderful steak dinner. Sorry sis...next time youre invited to that too! Lets see where tomorrow will take us, OK?!
