Kim Potter Writes: Whatever You Do I have shared with you this week the exciting things that are being prophesied about this month. While excitement is in the air, the enemy is also at work to try to stop our excitement for what we KNOW is here in this season. Personally, starting Wednesday, it seemed the little foxes were everywhere. First of all, I was teaching that night on the Healing Prayer Call, I was excited about that, however, things kept coming up that were interrupting my study time for that night. Then, my central heat and air stopped working. I called the repair people and they said they were so busy it would be Friday before they could come and fix it. It was 94 degrees in my house. It was not pleasant to say the least. Then, a situation I had been dealing with that had been quite peaceful suddenly became very confusing and full of contradiction. I know how the enemy works and I was choosing to stay in peace through it all. Then, just before bed, a situation occurred that I did not want to deal with right before bed when it was over 90 degrees in my house. It almost sent me over the edge. Almost. I went to sleep, as much as I could sleep in the heat, determined that I would go to sleep in peace because the Bible says God gives his beloved sweet sleep. The next morning I awoke and decided that no matter what I would stay in peace that day. Therefore I made a decision that if everyone else around me was in chaos, I would remain in peace and follow God. I knew God was urging me to stay in peace, regardless of what came my way, regardless of what I had to let go of, regardless of whatever...I needed to stay in peace AND so do you. I dont know if you have had a week like this or not, but if so, it is a sure sign that God is moving in your life and the enemy sees things you dont see and he will try to get you in strife and get you to let go of your promise. If this is so, stay in peace. God has promised us peace, as a matter of fact, Jesus said that he left us HIS PEACE. The peace he carried was a peace that allowed him to carry out his destiny in peace. He found peace as he walked through crowds that wanted to stone him. He found peace in the garden of Gethsemane. He found peace enough to walk toward the cross and complete it. That is the same peace he left you and I, more than enough to complete what we are walking through this day and to do it in peace. The Bible says in Psalm 119:165; great peace have those who love your law and nothing causes them to stumble. That is us - we are those who love Gods word and because we do, he promises us that nothing will cause us to stumble. Nothing, nothing, absolutely nothing the enemy sends our way will cause us to stumble. How do we do that? Isaiah 26:3 tells us how. It says; You will keep him in perfect peace....whose mind is stayed upon you...because he trusts in you. It is more than possible to stay in peace at all times. All we have to do is keep our mind stayed upon God and trust in him. When thoughts come that try to get our mind on the situation or what is going on around us, we have to reel our thoughts back in and put our mind back on God, back on his promises, back on his word and make a firm decision to remain there. As long as we do that, we will remain in peace. It is only when we receive the thoughts of the enemy that we come out of peace. His thoughts are not our thoughts. Our thoughts line up with Gods thoughts and as they do, we are able to remain in peace. It is a wonderful season we are in. There is no doubt about it. It is also a vital time to keep our mind stayed on God and stay in peace. It is my prayer for you today that you keep your mind on God and that you stay in peace...no matter what is going on. Stay in peace, perfect peace, just as he promised. Kim Potter
