Kim is a current Lighthouse client training for employment--her program includes learning to use assistive technology for accessing a computer, developing her braille reading and writing skills, and developing her resume. In these pictures, Kim can be seen working on her resume with Penny and then later, reading recipes after class. Kim is learning grade 2 braille which is also known as contracted braille because dozens of contractions are used to simplify the reading and writing process.
