Kimberly Gail Wieser has nominated me to list my top 10 books that make my heart dance just thinking about them. I find this impossible as there are so many books that have made me explode into butterflies reading them, so here are my top 10 works by oracles that I adore: 1) The Girl with the Botticelli Face by Bill William Valgardson. A work of mourning and sorrow. I loved it. I can still hear the rain falling in that novel. 2) Red by Sammy Hagar. Pure inspiration. 3) Ready Player One by Ernest Cline. Epic. It summed up my life in so many ways. 4) Willard and His Bowling Trophies by Richard Brautigan. I laughed so hard reading this. I still chuckle even just thinking about it. 5) Not Vanishing by Chrystos. The language of no one else is spoken here. Just Chrystos. Just awesome. 6) Cobra: The Last Laugh (g.novel). Espionage at its finest. 7) Punisher: Girls in White Dresses (g.novel). Redemptive. Dirty. Knuckles. Shells. Blood soaked and protecting. Wow. 8) Punisher: Naked Kills (g.novel). Brutal. Loved it. 9) Anything and everything by Gregory A Scofield. Gregory speaks the Heaven Language and even that fails to describe what he can do with words. 10) Monster Island by David Wellington. This took the zombie genre to something higher. There are so many more books out there, but these are the ones that I keep in my office. Just looking at them makes me dizzy and swoon.
