With the Spey valley basking in all its autumn finery, the first rider off, Steven Liddle looked fast. he proved to be so with a 22.48 proving to be an omen of things to come. There were fast times all round, with the victory eventually going to Steve Cairns of Perth United, his time leaving Andy Cowie an agonizing 10 seconds astray.
