Kind attention all MTNL users!! All MTNL users are having ping problem from the last 10 days or so. They are getting pings ranging from 180 to 300 while playing online. I was also having the same problem. But now it is fixed. Call customer care and tell them that your LATENCY is very high. Most probably their reply will be kya bola kya high hai sir? They will ask net nhi chal rha kya?? modem mein saari lights aa rhi hain?? Tell them net chal rha hai aur download speed bhi sahi aa rhi hai...lekin LATENCY bohot high aa rhi hai...matlab aapke server se data yahan pohonchne mein bohot time lag raha hai. Iski wajah se websites bohot slow khul rhi hain. They will ask to matlab browsing ki problem hai? Tell them ha browsing mein problem aa rhi hai.. Tell them meri DNS Server ki setting change karwa do usse theek ho jaayega...mere friend ka bhi ho gaya usse theek. Tell them your modem no. Then they will make you enter 2 ip addresses in your NETWORK ADAPTER settings. For me it was Preferred DNS Server : 59.179.243.70 Alternate DNS Server : 203.94.243.70 You can try these 2 but i think they are different for everyone. Talk to them once. My ping problem is solved. Getting around 50 now. You have to enter ncpa.cpl in RUN. It will open a window. Then right click on Local area network and choose properties. Double click on TCP/IPv4 and enter the 2 DNS Server ips and press OK. Hope this helps
