Kind of a short day today for Glori. Actually finished with her procedure, chemo & blood transfusions around 4:30 then on home. She hasnt felt good most of the day, having several episodes of sickness. She said she feels like she is getting a cold. Sure hope that she doesnt. She was very happy to get home to her Daddy & Lillie. When we arrived at the hospital, the radiothon was in progress & her Mommy (Debbie) took Gloris picture with Kelly K & Ben Davis, the 99.7 WDJX morning DJs. Glori was very excited about that and only a little bummed that she didnt get to see The Fray. At home she had a couple gifts waiting for her (arrived in the mail). She received a Joy Jar from Jessies Dream, which had some really neat things in it (leg warmers, paper, pen, iTunes giftcard, hat, bracelet, & other things). The jar also had a few things in it for Lillie. Glori also received a pkg from UofL Athletics (Univ. of Louisville), which included a really nice message/card and a cool UofL Cardinals Adidas backpack. A very nice way to end a rather bad day. She will get chemo at home the next 3 days and is taking chemo pills daily. Thank you for your concern & prayers and please keep them coming.
