Kinderszenen (German pronunciation:[ˈkɪndɐˌst͡seːnən]; original spelling Kinderscenen, Scenes from Childhood),Opus 15, by Robert Schumann, is a set of thirteen pieces of music for piano written in 1838. Nr. 7, Träumerei, is one of Schumanns best known pieces; it was the title of a Schumann’s Träumerei– which means “Dreaming This is a slow & short piece however difficult to get the right texture ,at one point it requires 7 notes to be played simultaneously Vladimir Horowitz playing Robert Schumann’sTräumerei . He also performed Träumerei in Moscow in April of 1986. It was an encore at Horowitz’ triumphant Moscow concert, it was his first concert in that city since 1925. Not a dry eye was in the house on that day .( could not get the live recording of that day )
