King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz passed away earlier today, and as - TopicsExpress

King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz passed away earlier today, and as expected, many people are reviling him while others are overly praising him. When a human being is given a trial such as power or authority in this world, and they cause much harm and oppression in many peoples perspectives, it is only natural that the oppressed will speak about their current situation. However, when someone passes away, and they claim to be Muslim and to profess Laa Ilaaha Illa Allah, making personal attacks on that individual will not help you, nor will it harm them. Aisha (radiAllahu anha) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (salAllâhu alayhi wasallam) said: Do not revile the dead, because they have already faced their destiny (be it good or bad). [Bukhâri] Leave the judgment to Allah (swt). This is not to defend or attack any individual, but for us to implement the commandment of the Messenger (salAllâhu alayhi wasallam). May Allah (swt) guide King Salman and guide the Muslims back to their faith all over the world. Our situation presently is a terrifying one (in Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Iraq, Syria, Egypt, Palestine, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Tunisia, Libya, CAR, Indonesia, and everywhere else there are Muslims suffering) where most of the Ummah has forsaken the basics of Islam and sought their honor and happiness elsewhere. As a result, much of the Ummah has been disgraced. As Umar ibn al-Khattab (radiAllahu anhu) said: We are a people whom Allah has honored [only] through Islam, and if we seek that honor elsewhere, Allah will disgrace us. O Allah, King of all Kings, the Merciful and the One who guides, guide us back to your commandments and guide those who have authority over us in this world.
