King Kong (2005) Naomi Watts as Ann Darrow, and Andy Serkis as King Kong, although in the picture as Lumpy... Director Carl Denham (Jack Black) wants to make the most heroic movie of movies and wants to film this on location on some remote island with the inviting name Skull Island. The actress Fay Wray has other obligations (In truth she is actually making the movie King Kong herself.), so he has to improvise real quick and snags Ann Darrow (Watts) for the role. I actually like this one, but that dont say much. I am also a fan of all three the Jurassic Park movies, and I usually draw a lot of flak because of it. So yes, I know when you nitpick this movie, it falls apart at any scene... That Peter Jacksons origins lie in cheesy horror flicks is neatly tucked away in this movie, but if you look closely on board the ship that carries them to the island... You will find a cage marked RAT MONKEY in the cargo hold. Which is a creature found in the movie Dead Alive or Braindead as it is also called. -Chuck-
