Kingdom People Network Devotional Colossians 1:13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: Its so amazing to know that God didnt just save us to wander and toil in nothingness, but saved us, redeemed us and TRANSLATED us from the power of darkness to the Kingdom of His dear son. The word translate means to change form and to take a completely different new form. Just like we established yesterday, we were transferred from a state of perishing(death) to a state of perpetual living(eternal life). Man was redeemed from the hands of The Dark. The Dark relates to a hold that binds people in chains of darkness and cause them to think, reason, and judge in the manner most suitable in the dark world. When man fell, man fell into a life called darkness nd sadly men still love darkness more than light. John 3:19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. Anyone who continues to live under the tutelage and auspices of darkness is living under condemnation no matter how nice or benevolent they are. The essence of the coming of Jesus Christ is to redeem and transfer man from the hold of darkness into the kingdom of God. As every other translations are, you can decide to live from the new form or from the old form. We can decide to stick to and live from our former life(conversation) or totally move to and live from our new life. Ephesians 4:22 That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; 23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; 24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness. Its time we lived from our new life. Eternal life is not just long, everlasting life, it is also a better quality life that has overcome death and the works of death.
