Kingdom Snapshot at Kingdom Investing Outreach Centers Interactive Bible Study ~ Worshipping Warriors Win ~ 1 Samuel 17:3-11, 16, 41-51 ~ Ministers Addie Redd ~ 9/3/14 ~ 7pm. As soon Minister Addie Redd mounted the platform, she took us to her foundational text. We followed her as she explained in great detail the biblical history of how giants came into existence. She explained that todays giant is anything that tries to intimidate us. As she introduced the importance of worship, it became clear that its a major key to defeating the giants in our lives. Im sure many of us realized the importance of worship especially when she stated worship helps us to get rid of our selfishness before God. Our vision of God becomes clearer when we worship! However, she reminded us that worship it not a one time event. If we do it daily, our impurities will surface and our relationship will consistently grow. Actually, worship is key to is seeing people through his eyes! The blessing is that the people may remain the same but we change. Selah! We travel with Minister Addie as she explored the scriptures to provide examples of biblical characters who practiced worshipping The Lord. It challenged us as we looked closer at Abrahams and Saras relationship with God (Exodus 31-32). She asked what do you do when God gives you a Word and yet you remain barren? (atm revised). What happened? The Congregants was fully engaged by the time she began discussing Moses worship life. But what caused us to look inward when she exposed Moses behavior after he came out of the presence of God. The more we discussed his life it revealed our similarities to Moses. We quickly learned that the processes that God takes us through is not only to reveal our flaws but to cause us to repent and to walk in deliverance. She concluded her teaching with Hebrews 4:6-15, 1 Peter 2:1-17 and Luke 22:3. Scripture references are noted above.
