Kingdom Snapshot at Kingdom Investing Outreach Centers Sunday Morning Celebration Service ~ What Is The Condition of Your Fruit? John 15:1-8, Galatians 5:19-22 ~ Elder Raymonia Mitchell ~ 10/12/14 - 10am! We are so thankful for the Presence and Power of God as He visited us today! We praise God for our Praise and Worship Team, they simply go in after God and as we joined them the entire House was blessed! The Word Immediately, as Elder Raymonia Mitchell mounted the platform she took us to her text. She illustrated how a Farmer grooms a vine of grapes. As she began to prune the vine, she asked us to say snip-snip! Without reserve the Congregants joined her and from that point on whenever she grabbed the scissors one could hear throughout the audience snip-snip! As she dissected the text, it revealed that the that the Farmer knows what to cut back, to snip away so the fruit can grow. She implored us to stay-to remain in the vine! The Congregants clapped and said amen repeatedly as she demonstrated how the Farmer would look throughout the vine sniping---even lifting the leaves of the vine to find the hidden things that would hinder growth. What caused many to shake their heads in agreement is when called out things that the Farmer prunes: fears, finanical issues, martial issues and yes even jealousy! It was clear that the analogy helped people to see how important is for them to allow God to prune in their lives! What a powerful illustration! You could hear people gasped as she simply stated that if we werent pruned then the issues would infect the entire vine. We listened intently as she connected John 15: 1-8 and Galatians 5:19-22. As she read the character flaws we knew we must line up with the pruning process in our lives. As she concluded, she explained the relevance of bearing more fruit. Though we asked our neighbor what kind of fruit they were bearing, we instinctively knew that each of us must answer the question as well! As she dealt with the last scriptures of the text it was clear that pruning would produce the fruit of the spirit in our lives. Our hearts were touched and our faith stirred as she testified of pruning in her life and how it helped her to be more sensitive to God. As the altar filled and she offered the concluding prayer, one could hear the sincerity of her petition to God on behalf of the people. Scripture References: John 15:1-8, Galatians 5:19-22 We want you to have an experience like none other because you are at a church like none other.
