Kingston Road Cat Colony Update: Last week we started rounding up a colony of cats living rough in a cul-de-sac on Kingston Road. The concerned neighbours called us for help. So far weve managed to catch & neuter the tom cat (who is FIV positive so will need an indoor home), one of the older kittens & 3x5-6 week old kittens & were going back to hopefully catch the mum cat, shes got a nasty tick on her shoulder. This will leave us with 4 older kittens to catch & neuter. It has not been easy so far & has taken daily trips to the location, 3 ladders, 1 fishing net, prawns, chicken, some friendly neighbours & determination - but were getting there.
