Kingwood friends, take notice this is in our backyard! If there are high schoolers who need service hours for NHS or the like, consider what my friend did: host a beans and rice party. They all got together and stuffed baggies (quart or gallon?) with measured amounts of beans and rice (separately) and donated them to another groups pantry. I think if you contact this group below, they can tell you the ideal amount to put in the baggies for individual distribution. In fact, LaNora Flores Purvis, can you chime in? I will try and get something organized. This is so much more fun than lugging 20-pound bags of beans and/or rice to the Pantry!
