Kino - Part 1 of 2 Harvests Let me share with you my finding after I sought out to better understand the harvests and how they relate to Pre-Trib Rapture, The Tribulation Saints / Israel, and the The Unsaved. The feasts days of Israel are always accompanied with a different harvest. The barley and wheat are planted together keep this in mind. Always, the First Harvest is the Barley Barley - Around Passover Passover in 2014 will start on Tuesday, the 15th of April and will continue for 7 days until Monday, the 21st of April. No man knoweth the day or the hour but just interesting to note. Second Harvest Wheat - Pentecost Lastly the Grape Harvest The Grapes ripen - Around Tabernacles Sukkot or Feast of Tabernacles When God cast his judgement on Egypt on Passover we see the barley was at harvest and was smitten but the wheat was not yet ready showing the order of the harvests. Exodus 9:31-32 KJV [31] And the flax and the barley was smitten: for the barley was in the ear, and the flax was bolled. [32] But the wheat and the rie were not smitten: for they were not grown up. Differences between Barley Harvest / Wheat Harvest and the Grape Harvest. - Barley Harvest represents the Church who is caught up in the AIR. - Barley is a soft shell, very fragile one method to separate the chaff from the barley grain is to throw in the AIR or place it in a sheet holding four corners and raise it to the WIND called winnowing. The barley grain would easily separate and give pure grain. - Wheat Harvest is only harvested after the barley harvest around Pentecost and is a picture of the tribulation saints. - Wheat is not at all delicate and is a tougher grain, thousands of years ago farmers used Tribulum tool to break the chaff from the wheat in a breaking process which would involve a flat board with rocks sticking out the bottom side embedded in the board which laid flat on top of the wheat hooked to an animal that would pull across ripping and grinding free the grain amongst the wheat. Today the word Tribulation is derived from the Tribulum tool. - Grape Harvest - Once the clusters of the grapes ripen its time to thrown them whole into a winepress and trodden under foot a crush down the grapes to press down severely the flesh of the grape to obtain wine.
