Kirsteen wrote--I went back to work four weeks after my lbka I was just working the register sitting on a stool after two weeks my employer fired me the reason being I only had one leg and they had no workers comp insurance I have had to cancel my medical insurance as I can no longer afford to pay it I told my employer that she was breaking the law as this was as disability discrimination and that I was going to sue her via the eeoc but that can take forever so in the meantime I can no longer afford to continue with physical therepy. I can no longer afford to go to my doctor to keep an eye on my stump wound as I am also diabetic and its taking me longer to heal anyway when I told my employer about the eeoc she told me u cant sue me as I took u off the books when u went into hospital well in that case why did she hire me back? I have just been denied access as I cannot provide proof of income well hello I have no income and it seems like my boss had not been paying my taxes for months I am now in a serious world of hurt broke post seven weeks lbka and unable to get help I did nothing wrong but try and get back to my life has anyone else been in this situation if so how was it solved as I dont know where to go from here I am in az
