Kirsten Powers thinks we should allow any child that claims refugee status the opportunity to stay here. If they can make it across our border. Then why have a border? Do away with border control? When people think only with their emotions chaos soon follows. Their thinking becomes jaded and the only thought they can manufacture is a short term one. Facts: We cannot care for all the needy no more than we can make everybody love one another. We cannot afford to have an open border policy. The cost would be unimaginable. Should we help people as a means of a humanitarian efforts? Absolutely. It should be measured and monitored closely. It is very easy to spend other peoples money to fulfill some need to save everyone. Obama pulls numbers out of thin air. 4 billion here. 8 billion there. As he describes it we can pluck money from some imaginary tree. The voice that seems very silent in the ILEGAL Immigration problem is Hollywood. What happened to We Are The World movement? Matt Damon and George Clooney and their friends Oprah and Steven Spielberg could just write a check and the problem would be solved. Where will the number stop? 60,000 or 20 million? Who knows. We still have no idea how many are already here and what their motives are. A story is circulating about a man that attacked a 9 year old recently. He has been deported 4 times. He broke back in only 30 days ago. These are not isolated apparitions. I have friends that live in Texas and they know of weeks where 6000 illegals are captured in their county. Imagine if this was your backyard? How many of them are hardcore criminals? Hell, who even knows? Our country is under attack. Not so much from the outside. More so from the inside. CLOSE THE BORDER. Fix the leaks. Clean up the mess.
