Kishtwar, Jan 18: Congress leader Randeep Bhandari today sought curtailment in the transport fare. Addressing a meeting of congress workers and other prominent people in Kishtwar, Bhandari said that in view of substantial decline in fuel prices, the transportation charges should also be curtailed. He said that there was substantial decline in the fuels costs since last couple of months but it is beyond understanding as to why there is no check over the curtailment of transport fares. He said “Due to unchecked transport fare, the people have to face extra burden, which further leads to the brewing resentment among passengers across the state. Bhandari urged upon the Governor to issue immediate directions to the Commissioner Secretary Transport to take effective measurers to resolve the issue. Lastupdate on :
