Kisokawa: Japanese Cast Netting is completely different from how most Americans use a Cast Net. In Japan this is a National pastime and competition is heavy. Handmade cast Nets are a necessity to reach this level of perfection. Check out the video and the amazing area they cover with a single cast! Also note the cast net, it is not Monofilament, rather a Multifilamet Nylon netting. No one here in the states makes these that I know of, but Ive got one under construction. It is very time consuming and certainly not feasible to make and sell, but necessary to have casting Kisokawa style. I will post a picture next, which at this point is a little over 6 ft., which will be an 18 ft cast net on completion.
