Hey I know music is not about competition … but let’s say a distant cousin from Alpha Centauri rings your doorbell: “Hi I’m XYZBTGTRGHZZMM-RRRT. Pleased to me meet you! Play me the best rock/pop recording ever … and if I’m impressed, I’ll show you an easy way how to build a working fusion reactor”. Yikes, better get those grey cells running! So we are not just talking about the best tune but a recording that combines a great composition with a great arrangement, lyrics, performance, sounds, mixing … you name it.
