Kitty cats had me up before 6:00 trying to go out on the patio. So I decided I needed some fresh Gulf Air, before dance class. We had a lot of rain so the birds were everywhere, hanging out in the puddles, flying overhead, running along the shore. It was simply incredible. As Ive grown older, having grown up on this beach, never appreciating what was practically in my backyard.... I realize what a gift this beach gives to so many people. It really does refresh the soul. I stumbled across an adorable sand heart, encased in shells. Those little treasures are priceless!
