Klabona Keepers: In light of the Red Chris Blockade we share a beautiful short video done by Ramsay and Micheal Bourquin. In this segment of the documentary film Dah-Tsiye Kehke (Our Grandfathers Footprints); John Nole, Erma Bourquin, and Loretta Dennis talk about growing up and living next to Todagin Mountain, and how our family along with the people of Iskut are closely tied to the local environment. Dah-tsiye Kehke (Our Grandfather’s Footprints) is a heartfelt documentary that celebrates the life of Indigenous Tahltan elder Loveman Nole; told through the experiences of his grandkids as they follow the footprints of his past; emulating the lifestyle that he once lived. The broadcast premiere is on APTN October 29th. Check out the website for the film at grandfathersfootprints.ca/
