Knights of Columbus (Bishop Salpointe Council #4584) do an enormous amount of work for our Parish Campus? For instance, did you know that the Knights donated the bell tower (the ‘Ave Maria Tower’) of our new church? In 1995 the Knights remodeled the median in the north parking lot, creating the “Knights’ Way” with trees and a brick walkway. In 1997 the Knights donated the memorial for the Unborn, which adorns the east wall of the Administration Building! At the same time, they also donated the memorial for the Unborn at our Good Shepherd Mission in Whetstone! The Knights were instrumental in creating the Memorial Prayer Garden! The Knights sponsor our Boy Scout Troop and the American Heritage Girls! The Knights keep the pro-life and pro-family activities at the forefront, sponsoring the fund-raising Dinner for Care Net and staffing the Pro-Life Booth at the Cochise County Fair every September! On the first Sunday of each month, the Knights host the Coffee Fellowship between morning Masses! The Fourth Degree of the Knights provides the Honor Guard for special occasions, such as the Corpus Christi Procession! At every workday or parish function, you will find the Knights of Columbus working, very often behind the scenes, to make a difference in the life of our Parish! Anywhere you look on our Parish campuses, you will find the results of the generosity and hard-work of the Knights of Columbus! The Knights are justifiably proud of their designation as “the strong right arm of the Catholic Church”! IF you are a Catholic man who wants to grow in his faith and connect with other Catholic men in service to the Church and to the community, consider becoming a Knight of Columbus!
