Know Your Rights: FBI & Grand Jury Investigations Recent reports have highlighted the recruitment efforts of ISIS in the Minnesota Muslim community. In order to investigate this threat, law enforcement officers have been approaching community members. During this investigative process, some community members have been served with grand jury subpoenas. How can you protect your rights when interacting with law enforcement and during the grand jury process? This Know Your Rights presentation is important to understanding critical constitutional rights. American Muslims strongly support law enforcement and the protection of our national security. As Americans, we also value the civil rights of every individual. All Americans have the constitutional right of due process and to be politically active. If you know of any criminal activity taking place in your community, immediately report it to local and federal law enforcement agencies.
