Know your sugars always! Are you like many who think that staying in shape during the holidays means we need to deprive ourselves? We get to eat less, have less energy, feel grumpy and left out from the festivities? We have strategies for you. Regardless of whether its the holidays or not, we suggest 1 key strategy to reduce cravings, and to increase energy: Create an INTERNAL BALANCE first, to achieve EXTERNAL RESULTS. How? Learn to better stabilize your blood sugars. This is how youll get to enjoy foods you love, as well as reduce the likelihood of body fat storage. First, recognize whether your craving is psychological or physiological. Also, understand that when we crave sugar, it may be other forms of sugar that were craving such as breads, grains, fruits, and other carbohydrates. The exception would be fiber.
