Knowing The Truth: Material Blessings vs Spiritual Blessings God often blessed evil monarchs: Pharaoh of Egypt; Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon; Cyrus, king of Persia, etc. All of these were referred to as my servants or mine anointed. Did God approve of their religious convictions? Is this why He blessed them with wealth and power? Read Romans 9:15-24 and then the rest of the story” from 2 Chron. 36:22-23 and Jer. 27:5-7. The bible teaches that spiritual blessings were never promised to evil people but rather to those who obeyed Gods word; these blessings were purposed to come thru the Christ. Understand that material blessings for the “vessels of wrath”were only for the purpose of “making known the riches of God’s glory for “vessels of mercy” which were prepared prior to the Creation.” Rom. 9:15-24 So likewise today, dont be deceived by material blessings as evidence of approval from God. Rain is sent upon the unjust as well as the just. Spiritual blessings are only from obedience to Christs commands! Acts 3:26 - God raised up Jesus to bless us by turning everyone...from your iniquities. This occurs as we hear and obey TRUTH.
