Knowing full well that my sore throat is purely tonsillitis, sinus drainage or just plain ole allergies, in a bored moment I thought I would check out the Symptom Checker that people talk about on WebMD and Mayo Clinic sites. My symptoms are simply, red throat, swollen tonsils, slight ear ache. Well Geeze jumpin Louise! I fear I may have, from the top of the list of possibilities......earwax blockage (what???), throat cancer, mouth cancer, esophageal cancer and possibly.....(drum roll, please...) VIRAL PHARYNGITIS! Ya think???? No wonder people think they are dying after searching the internet!
