Knowing the time....?(updated) (Rom 13:11) And that, knowing[G1492] the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed. (Mat 24:15) When ye therefore shall see[G1492] the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) The word knowing in the phrase knowing the time in Rom 13:11 and the phrase shall see in Matt 24:15 is exactly the same word... (Mat 24:36) But of that day and hour knoweth[G1492] no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. (Mar 13:32) But of that day and that hour knoweth[G1492] no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father. Why shall the wise be able to knoweth of see the abomination of deslotation (1988 AD - end of the church age)..... but not be able to see of knoweth of that day.....? (1Th 5:2) For yourselves know[G1492] perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. (1Th 5:3) For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. To GOD be the glory for making known to us what His salvation plan is so that we can see when He will finish building His temple (the body of Christ). (2Sa 7:18) Then went king David in, and sat before the LORD, and he said, Who am I, O Lord GOD? and what is my house, that thou hast brought me hitherto? (2Sa 7:19) And this was yet a small thing in thy sight, O Lord GOD; but thou hast spoken also of thy servants house for a great while to come. And is this the manner of man, O Lord GOD? (2Sa 7:20) And what can David say more unto thee? for thou, Lord GOD, knowest thy servant. (2Sa 7:21) For thy words sake, and according to thine own heart, hast thou done all these great things, to make thy servant know them. (2Sa 7:22) Wherefore thou art great, O LORD God: for there is none like thee, neither is there any God beside thee, according to all that we have heard with our ears. (2Sa 7:23) And what one nation in the earth is like thy people, even like Israel, whom God went to redeem for a people to himself, and to make him a name, and to do for you great things and terrible, for thy land, before thy people, which thou redeemedst to thee from Egypt, from the nations and their gods? (2Sa 7:24) For thou hast confirmed to thyself thy people Israel to be a people unto thee for ever: and thou, LORD, art become their God. (2Sa 7:25) And now, O LORD God, the word that thou hast spoken concerning thy servant, and concerning his house, establish it for ever, and do as thou hast said. (2Sa 7:26) And let thy name be magnified for ever, saying, The LORD of hosts is the God over Israel: and let the house of thy servant David be established before thee. (2Sa 7:27) For thou, O LORD of hosts, God of Israel, hast revealed to thy servant, saying, I will build thee an house: therefore hath thy servant found in his heart to pray this prayer unto thee. (2Sa 7:28) And now, O Lord GOD, thou art that God, and thy words be true, and thou hast promised this goodness unto thy servant: (2Sa 7:29) Therefore now let it please thee to bless the house of thy servant, that it may continue for ever before thee: for thou, O Lord GOD, hast spoken it: and with thy blessing let the house of thy servant be blessed for ever. Now is the day of salvation....(2Co 6:2) (For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.) (Rev 12:10) And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. (Rev 12:11) And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. (Rev 12:12) Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time. May GOD have mercy on each one of us.
