Knowing your rights is of no use since the police dont ever believe you have any rights! They abuse their authority regularly, like bullies, as they believe they have unlimited power to illegally stop and conduct illegal searches and seizures. Especially if you try to invoke your rights. The is the standard operating procedure in my town and the judges back them up every time. This old boys network gives them absolute power in this town. We all know that absolute power corrupts absolutely. At least this fellow had the smarts to film the situation. The police, in this town, would have arrested him and roughed him up to the point that his mug shot would have shown bruises and swelling on his face! They would also have confiscated the camera so it could disappear! Their power is unquestioned here until a video pops up on you tube. Even then they will not acknowledge the infractions they have committed and no disciplinary action is ever taken.!
